It's time for a political revolution.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is running for Congress to create an America that works for all of us, not just a wealthy few.

This campaign is about bringing together the people of New York to take on the establishment. It's time to take on those who pit us against each other and rig the system for a few. Together we can create a nation where every American has health care, an education, a well-paying job, and an affordable home.

Together we are fighting for:• Tuition-free public college and trade school • Medicare for All with no out-of-pocket costs for anyone • A just and sustainable recovery for Puerto Rico including full debt forgiveness• A 100% renewable energy economy and reducing pollution to protect our children’s health• A country where we no longer hold the world's largest prison population• Family leave and childcare support to help working families get by

"The only campaign in this race taking on Wall Street and fighting for working families in Queens and the Bronx."

In the wealthiest nation in the world, we should all have the things we need to thrive.

We need members of Congress who represent the people, not wealthy donors on Wall Street. The political establishment has monopolized our wealth and power for long enough. The American people are ready for a new movement to take on their corruption and greed. We can't expect change from establishment politicians like Joseph Crowley who helped to create this corrupt machine.

I got in this race to represent people whose interests have been sold out to the highest bidder by the likes of my opponent.

It’s time NY-14 had someone who understands their struggles fighting for them in the halls of power.

The Bronx and Queens deserve a working class leader

Alexandria is a working New Yorker and leader in her community. She was born in the Bronx to a proud Puerto Rican family. She never planned on running for office, but decided to enter the race for the 14th District when she realized New York needed a real champion in Congress. Too many of New Yorkers are working hard for too little while big donors on Wall Street rig our democracy and economy for the few.

Alexandria is a veteran organizer, advocate, and entrepreneur. In her career she has helped women in the developing world obtain small business loans, trained Latino youth to be future business leaders, and advocated for working people. Her hard-working background and humble upbringing has given her the perspective she has today towards everyday Americans. She understands these struggles and will strive to ensure that their voices are brought to Congress with her.

What We Can Achieve Together

Let's
End Corruption
More

Super PACs should be banned and a clean public financing system should be implemented to end the takeover of our government by corporations and billionaires. Americans deserve free and fair elections — free from the corruption of big money donors. The Supreme Court has effectively legalized bribery.

Let's
Create Medicare For All
More

The United States should catch up to every other modern nation and implement a single-payer, medicare-for-all system. There’s no reason we can’t be #1 in the world instead of #37. It’s time to end the destruction of American healthcare by price gouging, for-profit, private health insurance middlemen.

Let's
Create A Just Justice System
More

Our fates should be determined by us, not by our districts. Criminal justice and racial justice shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. Laws and liberty shouldn’t mean different things in different neighborhoods and for different families. It's time to end our for-profit criminal justice system by ending prison labor, private prisons and detention centers, cash bail systems, and all the other ways our criminal justice system profits off the vulnerable.

Let's
Create free public higher education
More

In America, every child and young adult deserves a chance to succeed. A college education should be a right, not a privilege. No one’s child should have their future predicted by their zip code. Every community should have free and accessible K-16 education, and we should build on the universal pre-K in New York. Our kids should be given every shot to study hard and learn, and to move on to good colleges and good jobs.
